We’ll address stress not just at the surface level, but from its core, giving you the power to regain your balance and feel stronger in the face of everyday challenges.

Constant stress eats away at our energy, our life force, and leaves us depleted and scrambling to keep up. We may lose our ability to sleep well, we might start to turn to unhelpful coping strategies like emotional or over eating, alcohol or substance abuse, overworking, procrastination, or neglecting self-care to name but a few.  All of these tactics can be transformed when we discover the magic of how to manage our energy ourselves and gain the skills to protect and build our natural vitality so we can not just cope better, but begin to really enjoy our lives again.

In this course, we will explore three  proven pillars of yoga practice that can help us:

1. How to Activate the Relaxation Response

Stress keeps your body in a constant state of fight or flight, which over time can lead to burnout, anxiety, and even chronic physical illness. In this pillar, you’ll learn simple yet profound movement and breath techniques that will quickly activate your body’s natural relaxation response. By shifting from tension to calm, you’ll begin to undo the harmful effects of stress and create space for healing.

In this section, we’ll explore breath control techniques that not only calm your mind but also energize your body. 3. The Art of Deep Resting

True rest is more than just a good nights sleep or zoning out infront of the TV—it’s about reaching a state of deep relaxation where both your mind and body can fully recover and recharge. In this final pillar, you’ll be guided through practices that teach the art of deep resting. By mastering this skill, you’ll learn how to reset whenever stress starts to build, giving yourself the power to rest and recharge as needed.

Freedom from Stress For Women of all ages, yoga course

Talya

Talya considered herself to be a relatively happy and stress free person until life piled on one big challenge after another. During many other major life challenges her mother was diagnosed with Alzheimers and her beloved Father passed away from cancer, all of  which had a significant impact on her mental health.

She woke up one morning having a full blown panic attack. Though she had been practicing yoga and meditation for over 2 decades she herself was surprised that this could happen to her! Not wanting to mask symptoms with medications and knowing the power of yoga, she used specific yogic and breathing practices to turn it all around and bring harmony back to her overloaded system.

Talya´s passion is empowering her students with yoga’s ancient time-tested practices and tools so they can avoid unneccessary suffering and take back control of their health and lives. 

She is a Senior Yoga Teacher and meditator rooted in the teachings of T.Krishnamacharya and Desikachar and specialises in Individual yoga training, yoga therapy and is the co-founder of Art of Yoga.
